Job Description

 Coordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational activity and curriculum redesign in Family Medicine; facilitates development of activities that lead to identifying key curricular changes to improve practice and leads the implementation of processes in the redesign of practice for Family Medicine; designs program research focused on collecting data to support interval change in process and evaluation; engages health team learners to include medical students, residents, and faculty to identify opportunities for improvement in service line teaching; schedules multiple complex activities in the project planning phase; analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates new and existing curricular activities; provides faculty support in the design and development of learner activities in cases requiring strategic content development; evaluates performance of team leaders; contributes to the advancement of the overall progress of the goals of the project; identifies and engages high risk patients in their own healthcare leading to improvement in health status, reduction in healthcare costs, and improved provider well-being; develops, implements, and evaluates a four-year curriculum.

Master's degree in public health, education, or a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted bythe University of South Alabama and five years of directly related professional experience. Experience in research design, grant writing, and organizational development is preferred.
